Clarence J Brown Reservoir, also known as CJ Brown Reservoir, is a man-made lake located in Springfield, Ohio. It was created in 1951 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and water supply purposes. The reservoir covers an area of about 2,200 acres and has a shoreline of approximately 40 miles. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, hiking, and camping, and is home to a variety of fish species, including crappie, catfish, bass, and bluegill. There are several recreational areas around the reservoir, including Buck Creek State Park, where visitors can enjoy camping, hiking trails, and hunting
